PORSE PlaySchools

PlaySchool is a resource for educators and children. While PlaySchool is a great opportunity to meet with other PORSE Educators, it is also a vital part of the PORSE Programme where educators can utilise the environment and resources to extend on children’s interests and strengths. Reciprocal and responsive relationships with children are keystone to developing new ideas, concepts and working theories of the world.

Our educators, children and families are welcome at all our PlaySchools, which run during term time only.

Fortnightly on Fridays (commences 16 October), 10am - 12.30pm
Whangarei Parents Centre, 13a Te Mai Road, Maunu 
Please bring morning tea and/or lunch for the children in your care, a drink, hat, sunscreen and messy play clothes. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Nature PlaySchools
Weekly on Wednesdays (commences 14 October), 10.30am - 12.30am
Ngunguru Beach, Te Maika Road. Meet in the car park opposite Ngunguru Primary School
Come prepared to explore! Buckets, spades, sunhats, sunscreen, towels, drinks and snacks are all a must have! We will meet at 10.30am and expect to be on the move by 10.45am.

Music PlaySchools
Fortnightly on Fridays (commences 23 October), 10am - 11.30pm
