Jenny Yule to speak at APEC Youth event

Jenny Yule, PORSE Managing Director, will be a guest speaker at the NZ Voices of the Future APEC 2009 national youth event in Auckland this week.

Ms Yule, who was named 2008 Bloom Her Business Woman of the Year, will speak to a group of senior students from New Zealand, Mexico and the US.

The event aims to educate aspiring young people about business issues within New Zealand and the Pacific Rim (APEC), and to provide an opportunity to meet with members of the New Zealand business community.

Students listen to invited speakers, including government and business leaders and then interview them in relation to the themes of the APEC CEO Summit, to be held in Singapore later in the year.

Ms Yule said she was looking forward to the experience to share how PORSE has evolved over 15 years with a purpose greater than education, and a company culture that inspires thousands of staff to expand the hearts, minds and wellbeing of all New Zealanders.

At the end of the event, four students and an educator will be selected to represent New Zealand at an International Voices of the Future event held within the APEC CEO Summit in Singapore.
